Geese za brek!

An impressive flock of geese at the top of Hatchbank Road this morning. There is about a hundred in the flock that is landing so heaven knows how many were on the ground and more were joining as I left. They winter around Loch Leven, usually coming close in for the night and flying out to somewhere exotic for lunch. The farmers don’t like them as they pull the grass up by the roots so they are more than happy to let their ground out to shooting syndicates.

Oh and living under their flight path is no fun either because if you thought Seagulls were bad then Geese are even worse. The rest I’ll leave to your imagination.

Don’t ask me what kind of geese they are because they are all ducky things in my book but there’s one thing for sure…
