A Knight of the Thistle

Again patience pays off… eventually. I had waited a long time to get photos of this Cherokee Warrior. It is normally based at Glasgow Airport and is parked away on the far side of a very busy airport and so I was more than pleased to drive into the car park at Scone to see this aircraft sitting by the fence.

G-BGGM Jodel, Scone

This little Jodel Paris-Nice was built in 1957 ( a year older than me) and is based at Whiterashes, a farm strip near Aberdeen. Interesting to note the different shades of white on the fuselage.

So there we go, the sun is shining this morning and I’m in the mood to take some more near infra reds, so…
