A slow day on Hatchbank Road

Well for some it’s a holiday Monday, for others it’s just a normal day, for me, I’m waiting to start night-shift and trying to make the most of what’s left of today day. The weather could be best summed up as Dreich. A miserable grey day with next to no sun, just low cloud and misery.

Fin, the Photographers Nightmare, has not been feeling very well lately, he has developed a limp and is on light duties for a while, however that limp seemed to have disappeared when we went out this morning for his morning ablutions as we managed to go most of the way along Hatchbank Road without any sign of the limp, that is until we got back home, when the limp mysteriously reappeared.

What’s more remarkable was that did not have to bribe him at all to keep out of the foreground.

Taking life and limb I plonked the camera on the tripod in the middle of Hatchbank Road for this photo

Another near Infra Red, picture, I had this daft idea to try and see what a HDR nIR picture would look like and it looks just the same, there is no advantage to the picture using HDR. This one was just a single image with a monochrome conversion.

The path

I retained some of the false colour of the nIR conversion with this one. The way the path winds its way through the trees has caught my eye on sever occasions.
